August 03, 2006: "badly worded clips of the mind"
back from a little two-week hiatus. life became too demanding for an internet existence.
okay, that's it.
just kidding! haha, what a wonderful joke.
i bet you're still laughing.
i can't really remember what i've been up to these past two weeks, but i can recall little snippets, such as the giant cookie a la mode made its return to my life! before the waitress even managed to set the coveted dessert on the table, my savage friends and i proceeded to stab at it, causing the waitress to sort of drop the dish and run. for her life.
the cookie's that good.
anyway, some friends of mine moved this sunday - from new jersey to north carolina - so the week prior consisted of pretending not to say 'bye. we had a large picnic in a park, and that's when i realized we might be too old for the playground. um, i guess i should've known before, but when we couldn't really crawl through the tube with ease, i suppose it's not for us anymore. not that crawling through tubes is really that thrilling, it's still upsetting.
i talked to one of the three travelers (they're triplets), and he said he found a spider. he then showed me a photo of said spider before its demise.
looks like they're doing well down there. i'm going to bake them a pie. :cool:
or... rather, buy them a pie. it's tantamount.
i've never really been one to list updates in the blog because ...i usually don't have updates. but it appears summer is dwindling, which means i should really begin "productive" work soon. when the pressure comes, i start to do other things, such as updating the site. hurray!
since my memory fails me and today's post (aww), it's reassuring to know i took many a photo, so i'll get to posting them later. everyone likes pictures! they're fun, yup.
PS: i love to have black text (i'll fight you for a black pen to write with), but it appears it might be difficult to read. :( how is it?

i decided to visit your site, which btw, i LOVE the layout, its extremely pretty.
hahaha i saw that picture of the spider, and im sure that he showed you the acorn one as well. that acorn is making NC look better and better.
anway, schools starting soon, unbelievable right. well, not really, but once summer hits the august mark, i say its practically school, since august is my least favorite month out of the whole year.
yeah, so i went to school the other day, i had to give in my working papers, and it was so weird. like i saw all of the principals, but no teachers. and it was dark. and scary.

Connie! I swear this will be the last comment on this post I send but I figured why not comment again to respond since nothing else is going on in my life.
I do have fire-fox sitting there on the lower part of my screen and I do use it on occasion, but being the sad lazy person I am I haven't taken the time to set it as default and so Safari is just as good, renders most pages the same.
As far as AOL goes, it is indeed evil, and was removed from my computer a little while after my first comment.

Connie I'm back (now viewing in safari) and I can actually see the left hand side of the site, which is very exciting because it seems I was missing a whole lot of stuff when surfing is AOL. (aol needs to work on that.)
Well thats all, now I'm off to do something random, probably continue developing more time wasting things for me to add to my site.

Connie! Hi, I did infact hug a giant person in a plush felty chocolate suit, and he did seem quite suprised when I told him to meet me by the exit with the car running.... he didn't speak, but I bet he was waiting there for me, and still is.
I'm liking the new greenish look, however I can't be sure if what I'm seeing is what was intended because I'm totally ruffing it using AOL because its now FREE yes you can get AOL FOR FREE...and so I decided to do a little research and see just how bad my own site renders in Aol's extinct little ram eater of a browser. Although, somewho, the "welcome" just makes me feel all warm inside...like AOL is really cares about me... yea.
Hope to see you sometime before we're too old to remember where we are.
PS: Black text is totally visiable. :)
