August 07, 2006: "the self-licking wonder"
i'm sitting in the house of my brother and his girlfriend in pennsylvania right now, next to a cat having the time of her life licking her paw.
actually, she's moved on to grooming her rear, which obviously must have taken years to perfect. any animal that can lick her own derriere is pretty cool and a good conversation starter. "yeah, the weather's pretty good... want to see what i can do?" too bad it's wasted on a cat. i guess i really shouldn't be watching this, but she seems happier with an audience.
that's my update with my visit to the keystone state. watching cats try to eat themselves is a coveted existence.

Haha good blog!! Cat's can be quite interesting although I've never really watched them clean their derrier, lol.

Heyy Connie! I'm back from the US! lol! Thank you for both your comments! :) Well i actually went to florida (i think you no that now??) And it was the second time id been to the US! i love the country! because its so different! Iam planning to move there for a year when i'm 21! haha! you did scrapbooking with your friend! I had cats as pets before and they did exactly the same. I pushed them away though whenever my little niece (that day he was still 2) came, just to avoid those questions with 'what are they licking?' thing :P An experience to never forget huh? ;)

It really would be nice to not care like animals do... privacy is nothing to them, ya know? They're comfortable doing whatever needs done wherever they are, no matter who's around or who's watching. Then again, I'd really not want to see someone taking a dump in the middle of the sidewalk or something.. so I take it back, bad idea :P
