August 30, 2006: "unrequited love"
apologies for not blogging in ten years! ...what, it's been five days? that's the true definition of a decade.
thunderstorms have been a-brewing here since saturday, which is when the ill-timed nightmare began. the internet went down (very déjà vu - i recall writing a post regarding this a few years back. and by years, you know i mean a month ago). at the time, proverbial balls were naturally being sucked because i had yet to complete many, many papers before school commences next week. in need of the internet, i spent the last few nights hibernating at the local library, in a cubicle banging on what must have been a pre-prehistoric computer.
"ten years ago," i wished the cable modem was a sentient object with feelings, just so i could strangle it.
(it's best to stay away from me - and my sharp teeth, in particular - when i'm undergoing internet predicaments. and when i'm experiencing womanly troubles)
today, i'm ready to smother it with affection that could only be described as inappropiate. our relationship is going somewhere girl and cable modem should never go.

AH! I haven't blogged for ages, either... There was literally almost 2 weeks between my posts... pretty insane, eh?
We've had lovely storms here. I've liked them.. a lot (x Not enough to knock out our electic, however. So I'm very proud.

Ok, so seriously, SIX of those entries showed up this morning! Or last night! Like, I clicked to put in the two entries I'd seen and was like 'oh boy, this is going to be a great contest' when HOLY CRAP there were like, a ton more! I was totally surprised. And by people not even on my friends list too! No idea how that happened, but it's pretty sweet. Also the poll thing is awesome so we don't have to count entries by hand! Woo hoo!

LOL! We had a lot of thunderstorms over the summer, but it's getting less since autumn and the coldness is coming. I naturally hate rain, because well, it's all gloomy and I hate worms also. Lol, glad you got your computer back!

seems lke there are thunderstorms all over the world at the moment, we've had them the past week here, and probably last week aswell, can't remember. It's raining good, anyways. As for pre-historic computers, my uni tend to not update their systems and get new computers. I saw the year 99 on one of them. I mean, get real! It's a university...people there are supposed to save lives and what not in the future... X(
