August 19, 2007: "hey connie, what's up? me, i'm okay."
i guess i have more of a typical blog today... you know, something that chronicles my day, something for me to look at ten years from now, because i'm positive i'll be thinking, "what exactly was i doing around august 19, 2007?" well, connie of the future (second cousin to the ghost of christmas to come? i think so), this is for you. last night, you went to a party severely lacking in alcohol, which was emphasized throughout the night when you were forced to talk to the very same people that made summer great because it meant it would be a break from them.
yeah.
but today, you went to a barbecue in the rain. and on top of at last seeing one of your good friends in a month (a whole month!), you ate a lot of pretzels - salted. and pretzels (salted!) always compensate for pretty much anything. always.
and this talking to my forthcoming self is too weird, so i'm going to stop, and hope you all had a pleasant weekend. we know i did (pretzels!).

I actually think that a lot. "I wonder what I was doing last year on the 21 of August? Was I sitting around? Was I busy? Was I visiting friends? What was I doing!" Alas, I will never know.

PRETZELS. Better than my BBQ, I must say. Though it didn't rain, and I drank enough for both of us, pretzels really do make the party (salted!). Hehe.

I can't agree on the pretzels. I prefer traditional greasy chips, or those cheerios party mixes. Those are SO good. I once ate so much (like two whole large packs) that I threw up. It was disgusting. I'll stop here.

Barbecue in the rain. I haven't BBQ'd for ages. Hope you had a good time. I read some old blog entries a while ago, ones from like.. 3 years ago. My English was really bad back then and I only talked about random things, nothing special. lol. I couldn't believe it was me who had written those things.

Makes me think of pretzel wetzel. Last time I went with my friends, we wanted the hot dogs wrap with the pretzel bread, the lady gave it to us free cause it's been there so long.

Pretzel, a rainy BBQ, and the reunion of a friend... most definitely worth noting. Especially the reunion.
