August 26, 2007: "the king has been given away"
the king from the previous entry. let me tell you, he was definitely the king of the gifts table at the party (haha. puns).
and the party itself was pretty, too. i was a bit too preoccupied to go camera happy, although everything from the ocean and bonfire to the boardwalk was absolutely resplendent. i'll just link to the website instead: ocean place, whose photos are better than any i would take anyway.
the highlights included a giant cake and fireworks that lasted for about twenty minutes. they were below the moon and a happy sight, and it looked like the moon was getting blown up.

YES. That's the most beautiful GIFT I've ever seen. I must say, your description of it sounded extraordinary, but I don't think anything could have ever done that justice except ribbons and a picture. :)

That is a pretty cool gift to be giving someone, and I am surprised that it was on sale for $12.99! Before I read your previous post, I swore that it was a very large beer bottle; instead of the coin jar that it actually was.
The party looks like it was great, especially since it was beside the ocean. Where I live you can only use fireworks on national holidays...anytime else and you get a one way ticket to not very nice place behind bars. Stupid laws...

Wow, that looks absolutely beautiful! I wish I was there! I'd be too caught up soaking up the scenery to take pics too. Sometimes, the camera just won't do justice.

Omg! Everything is stunning! Even the room Elvis was in was cute. And the gift is totally amusing, hahaha. =)) You should post more with pictures! Ah, I have DDR Max2, but I'm not good at DDR so I'm still on light. ^^;;; But it's so fun. Yeah, I've heard that most DDR games loose data unexpectedly...mine hasn't done that yet, but it decides when to save my AA's and when to leave it as the B from before instead. =D Omg, 2 hours of sleep! How?? Especially if you normally sleep what...didn't you say 14 or so?? lol!

Like Hiro said, parties are fun. :) I just came back from a birthday party/sleep over and I'm dead tired. I guess that's what happens when you sleep at 4 AM.
The moon getting blown up is always a great sight to see. ;) Fireworks are banned where I live. Leave it to the mayor to suck the fun out of everything. :(
