September 26, 2007: "k'nex"
i had the pleasure of playing with k'nex today. i'm sorry, today was my first encounter with them, so i don't really know how to explain them. you basically connectx pieces together to build, in today's case, a "racecar II"... um, i'll just leave you all with that link to wikipedia (i can really see wikipedia and me having a wonderful future together). and as i look at it now, it's supposed to be K'NEX - as if the apostrophe wasn't cool enough, we gots to be in capitals!
(this was for physics, by the way. so this was totally and completely educational. i don't really play with K'NEXtheCAPITALS in my free time. really.)
i was feeling a bit drained today, so i just tried watching the first few minutes and throwing in some words of encouragement. you know, like, "push harder," or "just stick it in." and let me just point out that it's YOU thinking those thoughts, and i'm just telling the story.
that's all i'm saying.
but really, some K'NEX pieces require some real, heavy pushing.
anyway, i was eventually coerced into assembly (what, my support wasn't good enough?), and let me just tell you, i think i can walk into a mechanics office now and get me a job because i've got the experience. i made a k'nex car, yo.

K'nex wow... I think we also have something here that's like, sort of like K'nex pieces and then theres magnetic balls in between all the plastic pieces. Maybe that is a form of K'nex and I just don't know. Haha. Sounds fun for a class =D
